Silly Shadow Box I made for hubs for v-day and yes this is us, rockin out in our magic mushroom land lol.I made the ity bity shrooms out of clay . I love paper dolls and want to get better at making them. I know you need to have a good printer, for one. I picked up this book at books a million
and It's awesome .Being that I love mixed media and dollhouses :) I am actually working on a two dollhouse projects ( slowly but surely) One is the Norm, ya know hobby lobby kit type dealio and the other I am making from various found boxes.I think it is way more fun that way!I like the Victorian but kits are kinda boring and a huge pain in the butt.This book is super cute and really good to show you ideas on putting them together.Now to get to the doll making part, maybe I can finish it one day! I also saw this book too and wan it so bad !
Neato ! Besides , I have always had a weird fascination with circus folk and the exotic world of the carnival . I don't know what it is, maybe the gaudy costumes and make up , maybe it's the food on a stick , stale popcorn and funnel cakes.Or maybe it's the fact that they all live on the road sorta detached from the outside world, I guess there is just something kind of mysterious and romantic about the circus. I am always curious about the carnies & circus people when I see them . I wonder what their normal life was like and what they left behind. As a kid I think I would have run away with the circus, if I'd had an act :)
