Really though , made from pants and the couch lol (and other fabric I had lying around) Pants being some of Matt's (my husband) old cords , and couch stuffing that is falling out of my hideous lint collecting couch that I hate with a passion. Sorry couch, you is nastay and falling apart , but thanks for the stuffing!
Ok, maybe I shouldn't be so mean to my couch...It has after all, endured years of abuse from my kids, my dog and provided us all with many a snuggly couch potato nights.Before I replace it , I'll gut it and use it for maybe more snuggly Mr. Owlys and things muhaha , Long live the Couch Snuggles!
Still workin on this sewing machine thing..not too shabby tho,I am making the pattern up myself so I'm going to tweak it a bit , make him even cuter and more Owly ( he is kinda crooked and I think his ears are to big) Then when I get my computer skills up to par , I want to make a tutorial of how to make this guy. I don't really know how to put patterns and what not on here yet :o
I know not everybody who loves to sew knows how to use a sewing machine . I have loved to sew most of my life and never really learned to use a sewing machine until now.I literally had my machine sitting in my closet for four years before I got it out and actually took a crack at it, but boy I'm glad I did.It saves so much time! It's like having a super rad magic sewing contraption that does all the boring work for you ! ... uh wait a minute!
