Meet Gladys ...

She's done ! It took me two days just to make her dress considering I do not know how to make clothes and have no pattern.I had to rig it and sew it to her body in places just to get it right. It is a far cry from the work of a seamstress , but I faked it pretty well  ;)  maybe I can find a pattern for it for the future, it sure would make it easier . I think I might add some more details like a Rhinestone or or two on her feather , some lace on the bottom of her dress . A prop would be nice, I thought about making her a violin player and making a little paperclay fiddle and bow . Who knows ...I guess she is probably not finished after all.

I use to be friends with a girl that was few years younger then me and her name was Gladys , she was the only person under eighty that I have ever met with that name , lol . She was really tiny , dainty and cute . I guess this doll just looked like a Gladys to me. I like that name .

I'm so glad I'm pretty much finished with her .She was hard, but fun. She challenged me every step of the way. What to do next?  maybe I should practice sewing some more clothes...
